help with ventilation

  1. I'm planning on starting a new grow room in a sealed room that is located under my garage. To access the room you have to remove a plate covering an approximately 4x4 hole to get into room. There is no fresh air going into the room other than when this plate is removed. I want the room to be discrete. The room is approximately 10ft wide, 6ft deep, and 25 ft long.
I'm trying to think of ideas to get fresh air into this room for my plants while still maintaining the secrecy of the room. Basically I don't want anyone knowing about the hidden room under the garage but I don't know how to get the fresh air down into the room?????
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated..

  2. sure... but we need pics of this access door and any sort of layout pics you can give so we can help...

sounds like fun but your going to get alot of wild guesses unless we see exactly how we can help

  3. you will need fans and ducting for sure. The fans can be hidden in the room but the intake and exaust have to end up accessing outside air or possibly the garage itself. Depends on where your neighbors can hear etc
Lotta variables to prepare for. Heat is usually an issue with lights and large volumes of air exchange and or air conditioners may be needed

  4. an option is to use compressed air (scuba tank) and then have one vent going out.
if you put a cupboard over the hole or even over one half of the hole you could have all the vents both in and out hidden in there, good luck and i am keen to see some pics, then we can give you more advice :)

  5. Update on the situation ? What are your plans thus far ? Pictures ?
