Hey, i am relatively new here and have been lurking around for quite a while. Me and a buddy are about to start growing in an old sauna of his, and i was wondering what the best method we could use is. I have looked into several hydroponic methods such as ebb and flow and DWC and RDWC. and the designs make sense. i was just wondering what would give us the greatest return out of the 4 or 5 plants we are going to be growing with.. also because we are going to be in school we will not have tons of time to maintain them so it has to be relatively easy. we were thinking something along the lines of this: this: so to make a long story short. need a simple design made for growing 3-5 plants in a smallish area. would love the feedback of a community that knows what there doing thanks
if your not going to take the time to monitor your plants... just buy bag.. it saves the seeds for someone who needs or wants them... i curse you for thinking its ok to kill MJ plants.... hahahahahaha there is no easy way... IMO.... make some soil and stick a light over it.. give it a try.. but without constant supervision your spitting into the wind...
hey sorry if it came across as i wanted to kill plants, cos thats not at all what i want. so please do not assume this. Im just looking for a simple hydroponic system, and i thought this would be one of the better places to ask. by not having alot of time to maintain them i meant it cannot be a "full time" kind of gig, i would rather have it so that the 6 hours that im not at the house they would be ok and stay alive on their own for 6 hours before i have the chance to maintain them.
You need to check on plants daily, at least i do. 6 hours will be fine. i wouldnt worry about a thing. usually you dont even need to water everyday, maybe 2-3 days. the time you put in also is reliant on how many plants you are actually growing. more plants = more care.
thanks for the help, really appreciated. im not sure if you know, but for lights, i currently only have around 160 watts of fluorescent lighting which im sure isnt enough. how much do i need in order for it to be successful?
what is the size of ur space... flood tables do well in small areas... but buckets do expremly well when you have the room.... the cloner link in my sig has the basic dwc design,
With 4 or 5 plants i would say you need probably twice as many watts. do you have a t5 setup or just the swirly cfl's?
