  1. Found some 120mm fans that sound pretty awesome to me @ 200cfm!

Now how do you suppose I could power a few of these??

    Rated Voltage : 48 VDC
Operating Voltage Range : 24~55.2 VDC
    Starting Voltage : 24 VDC (25 POWER ON/OFF)
    Rated Current : 0.39 AMP
    Rated Power : 18.7 WATTS

  2. ......any ideas at all?

  3. power adapters. Pick one up at radio shack and wire the fans to it. Make sure the adapter can handle the amperage load.

  4. I don't know of a power supply that can handle more than 1 of those fans, and if I get them @ rat shack I'm looking at an additional $15 each just to power them! I was looking for something to handle 2 or 3 of 'em

  5. Are they PC fans?

  6. They are pc fans. The fans I am using now are 12v with much lower ampage and I wired them up to a power adapter from an old external hard drive. The only power supplies I can find in 48v with at least 2 amps start @ about $40 :( lil rich for just powering 2 pc fans if u ask me

  7. Well, personally I find $40 for ventilation well spent.

I would agree in most cases but $40 for only 2 fans?? After cost of fans and powering 4 of them we're talking $100... I am a tight wad, but that seems like a lot
