Help with my setup

  1. Sup GC, first post in years.. will keep it simple. I have the following equipment and am trying to figure out the best path forward

    - 4x QB132 driven by a HLG 240H-C1400A which puts me at about 188 watts.
    - 1x Platinum P300 Blurple LED (180 true watts with veg/flower switches on)
    - 1x 2x2x5 tent
    - 1x 2x2 flood and drain setup with nutes and all

What I'd like to do is add 2x QB 96's to my custom made QB132 light for a total of about 560 +/- at the lights.. This would be pushing each QB 96 at 180 watts plus my QB132's at 188 total watts.. I'm trying to think of a way to use what I've got to set up a perpetual grow... What do you guys think?

  2. You only have 4 square feet of tent.

I recently read that only about 30watts per square foot of QB lights are needed for flowering. More like 50watts per square foot of COB or HPS.

The exception to this is a sealed room with CO2.

I have a similar situation and would love to justify buying QB lights but I've already got 250 watts worth of cobs.

At this point I'm just going to try to learn to be a better gardener until the LED lights evolve a little more.

  3. Sorry I should have been more clear, I would like to use my 2x2 for SOMETHING, but I want to buy a larger tent hence the perpetual grow comment.
