Ive got a hp pavilion laptop that is having serious screen issues. warranty is out. The screen will almost freeze whats on it but its not frozen. If i grab the top right of the screen and pull the outside edge toward me while and the screen works. its like a bad connection but im a lil nervous to rip apart my laptop. so i guess i need some help getting it apart and fixing the connection.
Yep, it does sounds like the connection between the screen and base is loose, or damaged. Look up your particular model on the net, to find out how to get to that connector, then make sure it's seated properly. If that doesn't help, you'll probably need a new part.
