Help with my friend

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by jcal123, Mar 21, 2012.

  1. Heys guys so one of my really good friends, who I hang out with weekly, has been acting really strange recently. Backstory: For the past couple months we've been blazing up after school and head to the park or something. :D
But here comes the problem: more and more, all he talks about it weed. He's been smoking more and more, too. It's up to like 3 times a day. I rarely see him when he's not high. I'm not saying that this is a bad thing for the people on here who do it, but I'm worried.
Also, we usually pull our money and pick up together. But recently, instead of bringing money, he's always offering to give me shit instead. Like last week, it was an old blackberry phone, and this week it was an iPod nano. I'm worried he's stealing this stuff. :/
But HERE's where it gets really weird. He texted me a few hours ago saying he "found" $80 on the street in a Frito's bag... When I told him I didn't believe him, he got realy mad and defensive. I honestly think he's resorting to stealing.

Should I talk to him about this? How so? How should I bring it up and what should I say? Please help, Grasscity. I'm really worried about my friend here :(

  2. Who gives a shit, let him fuck up his own life. If he starts stealing from you...well that's a different dtory

  3. well he is your friend. you should talk to him about his life not revolving around weed.

for all you know, that simple talk could save years of who knows what.

  4. LOL, 3 times a day is nothing man. Don't worry about it, sounds like the guy just loves his bud. I'm sure a lot of us can relate.

  5. If he just likes to smoke, that's cool.

If he is a thief, you should sever ties. Thieves make shitty friends.

  6. Talk to him about it. Sound likes tthose crazy meth guys who go through garbage cans to get what they can for meth haha

  7. Talk to him. If he denies it, just whatever.

If he steals from you, then it's time to beat that fuckin' face in.

  8. The only option is to join him... He's got spare electronics to sell, finding money on the street, sounds like a lucky dude... conform.

  9. "John...this is the third fucking DVR this week. The 11th iPod. Something is fucking wrong here"

"Nah, man. I had these laying around."

  10. Your worried? What are you gonna tell his parents, or rat on your friend? With all due respect sir, I think you just just keep to your own, and let him do his thing. If he screws it up, so be it.

  11. You never know... Few months back i had 7-8 ipods sitting around my room. All of which were obtained legally.

On a side note, who the fuck would trade a dvr for weed? Ipods are easy to steal... but is he walking out of best buy with dvr's tucked under his shirt or something??

  12. just keep an eye on it for now. it if continues getting worse then ya i'd talk to him. ive sold old junk to buy weed before. but i also accept when im broke and cant smoke

  13. Id say Frankenfish said it pretty straight, you really dont wanna be buying HOT merchandise. It can be a longshot but if you get involved with the cops and him stealing stuff and could get fucked over yourself.

  14. Hahahahahahah +1

  15. talk to him about it. no matter what anyone on here says, stealing is fucked up. if its not yours don't take it.. would you want your ipod to just disappear one day? or your nice sunglasses that you worked for? That type of shit isn't cool. people think oh its just an ipod. to some people that means alot.

  16. Why did you bump your year-old thread?

  17. Just try talking to him. He's what some would call a person who has no self control. Weed is one of the things that shouldn't be easy to get addicted to unless you really have no self esteem. Those are the people who think there life is much better high to the point that they hate there sober self.

  18. I'm not proud to say it, but I was once that friend. I would do whatever I had to so I could fund my habit along with some nasty unmentionables. I've had my shit together for several years now, and part of what helped me was a sincere and honest talk with my best bud. Talk to him and see what he say. It could possibly help him if he's in a bad place.

  19. Year-old thread here, just a heads up.
