Hi I'm new to the site and I'm fairly new to growing, this is my second grow. I'm having an issue with this lady and I just don't know what to do. The leaves have been yellowing and falling off daily for about 2 weeks now. About 5 weeks into veg This last one just shows how many leaves easily can be pulled off every other day. I'm using Fox Farm Ocean Forest 6 26w cfl bulbs grow box is a carboard box lined with mylar lol I use drops to adjust ph but usually I try to get to 6.3-6.5. It seemed like this all started a couple weeks ago when I tried watering with some fox farm veg fert at about 1/8 of a teaspoon per gallon every other watering, then the leaves started going yellow so I stopped but the yellowing continued. From what I gathered seems like its a N deficiency...? How would I fix that? Also wanted to add, the soil I'm using is from about 1 year ago and has been stored in an outdoor shed during that time, Idk if that would effect it but I know I didnt have this issue on my previous grow when the soil was fresh. I sincerely apologize for the unorganized format of this post, it's just I'm a bit short on time and really need some, and just want to give as much info about it as possible. Thank you, Ben
Don't think it is lack of N my first grow looked a bit like yours I recommend adding more light that could be the problem you have a pretty good size plat there I don't think them cfl are up to the job try adding some more cfls or if ya got some money ya could splash out get a hps light but I don't think ya have seeing as ya grow room is made out of cardboard lol
Ehh so the yellowing of the leaves is purely just a light issue? I thought the plant just ends up thin an spindly with not many bud sights when they dont get enough light. I was going by the 10,000 lumens per square foot rule. Well im saving now for a bigger set up with a 400 w hps, but its gonna be a little while still... Anyone else have any ideas?
