Help with indoor grow room?

    My outdoor grow pretty much went to shit so I'm saving to buy some lights and stuff for a good indoor grow room. I would be using a bedroom, I about 11x11ft. I am a Medical Marijuana patient allowed 30 plants in a 10x10ft canopy. I don't expect to grow 30 plants.
    My question is basically what all will I need. What would be the ideal setup?

    I was thinking 2 switchable HPS/MH 1000w. How are the switchable lights?

    I know I'd need the lights, reflectors, ballasts, Mylar for the walls, pots and soil and all the nutrients and stuff, obviously, some oscillating fans, and the clones...what else?
    I was thinking I'd probably need something to keep the heat in the room down, like one of those window mounted AC units, but just inside the room not window mounted, maybe on some kind of frame.

    Can anyone give me a good materials list for a good indoor grow for around $800?

    Thermometer, hydrometer, pH meter, ppm meter, those things that read CO2, extension chords, etc.

    Thanks Gig. What exactly is ppm? And a hydromenter measures if the soil is too dry or too wet, right?

    No one has a good list of what to buy for a good grow room for around $800-$1000?

    Also, what is the basic rule for lumens per plant on average, and how many lumens do a 600 and 1000w light produce?

    You have a great area in which to work.

    I would run 2, 10oo's, each over it's own 4x4 area. 8- 10 girls under each and off you go.
    Plenty of light for each area.

    I use switchable ballasts, they are great. So during Veg, I swap out the HPS bulbs with Metal Halides, and visa-versa for going to flowering.

    But 2 1000's will already set u back about $800..........

    So you'd only have a 4x8' canopy of plants with the 2 1000s?
    Maybe I'll just buy one 1000 for now, we'll see how the money situation changes.
    Could I setup the room basically how I'd need it for 2 1000s, but only use one? I'd grow half the amount of plants, but I'm just saying when it comes time to set up the room, I want to just make it so all I will have to do once I get the 2nd 1000 is just hang the light and put in some more plants.
    Does this sound like an okay plan?
    I am VERY open to suggestions with this.
