I just took 4 clones from my 10 day intoflowering and i jus took two from uper nodes and 2 from bottom i used the cloning liquid and put them in rockwool and left a t5 with a humidity dome and i just spray them and moist thenrockwool is this right?
yeah sounds right did you put then clone in water when you cut whilst getting the cloning liquid ready - if not a air pocket (could) of formed but everything seems good , goodluck
Yea i put it in the phd water i had my rockwool cubes in before i put it in the clonex liquid i thnk there looking good ill post a pic now
Help? I think you hit the nail right on the head there bud! You got this Cloning isn't as hard as it sounds... I've literally finger pinched clones right off the plant and into soil
First couple of hours they where droppin but 3 of them kinda picked up and look ok one looks weak but i hope to see the roots how long till?
Bubble cloner I see roots in 7 days... Try a week-week n a half... Sone strains can take longer to pop em too. I've heard of three weeks before
Thanks if they start to die like dont make it in how ling should i be able to see that i failed like will they jus keep leaning n die?
Just make sure they are moist and humid and you'll be fine. You'll know you failed when they are shriveled and dead looking... Oh! And you can trim about half the leaf off with a scissors... The leaf tips will wither ad turn yellow anyways. The logic behind this is the cutting can't use very much light and will concentrate more on trying to put roots out.
Cloning is awesome and easy, and one thing makes cloning a success most of the time is having an heating element under the clones providing warmth for the roots to grow too. Heating pad + clones = WIN
18/6 definitely give them a dark period. I've read root growth happens at night time and don't put them under any strong lights! Clones are sensitive to light early on, so don't be shy to put some space between the light and the clones
the only step you didnt include where you messed up is you didnt snip the leaf tips. in order for clones to root swiftly you snip the tips of those fan leaves before setting in soil. this allows the leaves to use up the moisture and humidity much better allow roots to grip faster and stronger. they will still probably make it but it will take a day or two longer than usual.
thats works great! even 16/8 would suffice depending on number of plants and wattage of bulbs/lamps. i would set them 24/0 for a week then switch to 18/6. either way though all will be fine.
Also ive been spraying them once a day spraying the inside of The humidity dome cover the rockwool and te cuttings a bit is once a day good enough?
