Help with buying seeds

  1. Well i've decided to start growing but im in a bit of trouble! I want to grow two plants! One Sativa, one Indica! I need help finding a "Easier" strain to grow. One that will yield a nice amount, smoke good and give me a nice effect. Im not expecting to yield pounds im looking to yeild a couple ounces. But i also need something that wouldn't wreak like crazy. Anybody know of any "easier growing" plants?

  2. if you do some reading you'll find it's fairly easy growing most strains. but, growing different strains of an indica and a sat. can cause you problems. more than likely, they'll feed differently, meaning 2 diff. feed mixes. i'd just find a nice sativa/indica mix and grow that out.

  3. The strain's yields are only going to be as good as your lighting, grow medium, nutes, feeding schedule and experience. A couple of ounces from 2 plants isn't hard. As a new grower, getting them to finish properly will be the challenge.

Regarding seeds, save yourself some time and cough up the extra $$ to buy feminized seeds. You'll thank yourself later.

  4. What he said....

  5. start with an Auto, they are a good, fast way of getting your learning in. They should yield you 1-2 ounces if you get it right, you don't need to worry about lighting changes etc

  6. Id just get some northern lights, its a good hardy strain and easy to grow. I wouldnt get auto that way you can learn about switching the light cycles which is really simple.

Attitude seedbank is like #1 in my opinion and plenty of other people order off there, you can browse by company name or plant characteristics (diesel smell, purple, landrace, etc.).

  7. i've found that femmed beans are a bit unstable. one little mistake, and they hermie. i've used them twice, and both times, the nanners showed up,and i don't recall making any errors. no light leaks, no drastic trimming etc. now, with regular beans, i've made a couple of flubs, and no nanners at all. my timer failed on me once, and was off for 36 hrs. i can't imagine that being the case with femmed....

I think it mostly depends on the breeder and how well they weed out the ones with the herm traits when choosing plants to feminized..some don't care and just rush it to market

  9. that's a fact!
