Help with a Diagnosis

  1. Namaste,

I have been trying to figure out what the problem is here for about a week, its slowly getting worse. Hopefully the pictures will show what I am talking about. Light colored splotches showing up around the leave.

I am using a 1-1 peat/perlite mix. I began using technaflora nutrients also a week ago. Before that, the plant was in miracle grow soil. Temps are a bit high, 85f-90. I don't know my Ph, haven't put anything into the soil long enough yet, but I await your recommendations.

At first I thought nute burn as the leave tips had darkened and curled under, but I doubt that. My guess would be calcium, or all of the above....I appreciate your thoughts.

  2. Wouldn't worry to much just keep an eye on it if it gets a lot worse. The MG soil in the beginning is what prob caused this, I seen it many times.

  3. mirco nutrient deficiency.............almost sure.

  4. thanks for the tips. I undestand without more specifications, it is probably hard to say. I do see a lot of the older leaves have burnt tips as well. I waited a few weeks after transplanting to my soilless mix because i figured the MG soil had nourishd them enough. The symptoms progress everyday but growth hasnt seemed to slow.

i think i will actually cut back the feedings and see how things progress.

  5. here is another shot, not so much of deficiency though
