Help! Why are my plants failing?

  1. Hi all, first time growing here can anyone tell me why my plants won't veg?

The big one has been under 24/0 light since early January (150w LED the last 3 weeks and x2 1600 lumen CFL globes the first 6 weeks). The bottom 3 branches have all died off. The plant dies off at the bottom it grows new leaves at the top. Now the whole plant is kinda turning yellow, same with the seedling. They look a lot worse than real life than in the photos, the big one is almost pale white more than yellow.

The 2 younger seedlings are 3 days old, the hardly bigger yellowed seedling is probably like 4 weeks old.

Planting in organic soil and tried potting mix on the 3 seedlings. Had another plant with the big one but it kind've grew long stringy leaves in a twisted pattern and then died.

  2. hmm. For starters, those see thru plastic cups arent good for seedlings, roots and light dont mix. Seedlings should also be domed for a bit as they require high humidity. Are you monitoring temps and humidity? what kind of soil?

  3. You need a shitload more light.

  4. Looks like the soil is dripping wet lol did you overfeed/ water it?

  5. Starving to death.

My seedlings do just fine in 10-20% humidity so that is not the issue.

  6. Nothing about your set up is normal. Follow a more standard approach and you will have far fewer problems. People tend to do many of the same things because they work, it's common for a reason.

When you start to design your own system on your first run, or can't be bothered to put the effort in, you get below par results.
I don't want to come across like a dick but it would be faster to start some new seeds than to nurse these back to health.

Decide on a light and tent size. Make sure they match properly. Figure out how many plants would be best for that set up. Choose your soil wisely, use a commonly used one for your country, what country are you in?
Get an exhaust fan and circulation fan and check you have the right temperature.

    Then start your seeds.
Only water when they need it and don't add nutes until the tips of the leaves reach out passed the rim of the pot

Your main issue is probably over watering, but if you fix that, some other issue will show its head because you're just doing so much wrong. Honestly, take some time out to learn the basics and get your grow room running right before starting the seeds. Definitely use a different soil. Cannabis plants needs a lot of air to the roots
