HELP! WHAT THE HECK IS THIS??!

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by HueyNewton089, Apr 26, 2019.

  1. So not my first time growing but definitely first time seeing this... I might add that this is the first time I've used the pods to germinate (normally use paper towel and NEVER had any issues). Also, after they sprouted, I put a baggy over top of the solo cups as seen on a reputable YouTube channel who knows his stuff. Again, I've never use the baggy over new seedlings before.

Is this mold?? Fungus?? Any hope with this girl?

Ordered seeds from ILGM.com and not sure if it's bad genetics or an error on my end.

    PLEASE HELP!!

  3. LMAO

You're killin me smalls!!! Should I toss it... man I was pissed when I saw that today!! haha

  4. Scrape the top of the soil off and you should be fine man.

  5. I appreciate the feedback... what about the white stuff growing up the stalk??? lmao....

  6. Solo cup growers = Not real growers.
Damn things are to tall and narrow based and fall over way to easy.
Use real nursery cups to start in. Like a square 3x3x3 inch.
I start with a half filled cup so when the new seedling stretches (and they all do) I just add a bit more soil to support the new seedling rather then the stick and string shit.

Seedling don't need bagged even here in the desert where the humidity is 15%. Clones yes seeds no.

It's a fungus and a bit of tap water sprayed on it should knock it down. Can even add a touch of bleach to the water to kick the chlorine content up and it'll be more effective.
An eyedroppers worth in say a cup of water.

Many fungi can be killed by altering the PH either up or down as well. Baking soda in water and drizzled on the fungi will likely kill it as well.
    Just my 2 cents.

  8. I believe he was referring to the YouTuber (about the solo cup comment), not you. :)

  9. How would one define what a “real grower” is?

  10. Someone that takes it seriously. Not someone that spreads bad info on YouTube.

  11. If you knew what person it was on youtube, you wouldnt say that. Dude is a beast and knows his stuff.. apparently I did something wrong...

  12. If he's putting bags over his seedlings he has no clue how to grow.

  13. You should see what some people can do on here. :)

  14. LMAO It's not me
I've only been growing Cannabis since 1976. I'll need a few more years at it before I'm considered a
    "Real Grower"
    :)

<--- Old School WFT is a YouTube ?

  15. so you've never used a humidome before??? It's not that hard to understand.

BTW - the guy has 60k subscribers... preeeeeeetty sure he knows what he's talking about...

  16. These aren't clones. They don't need the excess humidity. Your sprout would have gotten more light and wouldn't have stretched as much had you not been blocking the light with a bag.

I don't care about YouTube, I don't care about subscribers. I produce results.

  17. yea, well it wasn't a clone from the video hardass lmao

  18. That's my point

  19. Let me try to say it slower for you so maybe you can understand...

    The plant from the video...

    was

    not

    a

    clone....

    better results???

  20. Again, I'm aware of that.

You realise I'm talking about him being wrong correct? None of this has anything to do with you (aside from taking his poor advice).
