I have read and read, looked all over the web and all over ebay (Prices are great, but suspect). Every site says there's is the best. I have made lists to compare diferent brands and this seemed to help, but then I read that you can't count on their numbers.
I need to grow about 60 or so good starts for my summer outside grow, so I am only interested in Veg not bud.
I am considering running 2 rows of LED's with a row of (5) T-5's between them and shuffles them around.
I live off the grid, so power is an issue
I am not planning to start them till the beginning of Feb., "But, time goes by whether you having fun or not", so I thought I better get started.
Please let me know your personal experiances or maybe direct me to some non-biased websites....Thanks

No need for thousands on a couple LED's just to veg IMO.

However I have researched a lot of LED's,and Black Dog is one I really was interested in.They have 5w diodes going now too I just noticed.http://www.blackdogled.com/.

Mostly because they have a life time guarentee. Also when it gets old you can have it refurbished,or update it with the lastest technology for just the cost of shipping, and parts no labor. So you dont have to buy a whole new light after 60k hours or whatever the life of them is.

However for your situation I'd grab 2 maybe 3 of these though, and your set.Up to you of course.

You may even have a local HTG to pick up from. These come with 3 year warranty as well.

  4. Cidly.com and check out the Apollo series of lights. Fully customizable spectrums 60/90/120 lenses options and multiple sizes including some very large ones that may come in handy for you. Don't order through anyone but cidly, the other sellers are outsources who don't allow customization and charge double what cidly does.
