Hey guys. My baby girl seems to have these weird yellow streaks on the leafs. Any idea what caused it? This happened during vegetative state like about one week back. Plant is about 2 months old. (Seed, not clone) Soil mixture : Perlite and potting soil. Lightings : 5 bulbs of 24w 2700k CFL. (yes I'm force flowering it) Nutes : 10:21:21 (Recently started giving it, but giving it at a diluted dosage and slowly increasing the dose)
First off, npk rating is outta wack the "n" should be higher than the "p-k" but it could be a lot of things Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Yeah, that's for veg state. Now I'm forcing flower it. So N gotta go down and K gotta go up. Preciously during veg state, my plant has been receiving higher N.
I have seen this before....do you see anywhere in your grow (on top of leaves) little black lumps? There is a bug that I have never been able to identify that sits on top of your leaves that suck the chlorophyll out. They almost look like rollie pollies but very very tiny. As they move along, they leave behind those streaks. I had these once and had to give foliar sprays of Azamax...just a thought...
To think about it, YES! I've seen some of it before and removed it. Oh damn. So I guess there isn't much I can do to save the affected leafs?
As soon as they cross the center of the leaf, no but no all is lost. They do not move very fast so squish them when you can. They just look like a little piece of dirt on your leaf. Just keep at it....they will show up again 10 minutes after you squish them but they have a hard like she'll so pinch them hard! Lol. Get some Azamax and spray the tops before lights out. I call those streaks snail trails. They won't kill your plants if you keep after them.
are the ones your describing maybe one of the bugs listed here? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Listed where? I have checked as many images as possible and can't figure it out. I will take a magnified photo if they ever show up again. I am sure someone will know
This is what they looked like. These are Border Beetles...not sure if this is what they were but very close.
