  2. I used to be prescribed adderal XR, but I only used it for about 2 months continuously. This was before my weed smoking days, so I can't comment on the interaction between the two drugs, but I can say that I did feel a little bit blue upon first quitting. That feeling left pretty quickly, and within days I didn't even notice it anymore.

Weed, on the other hand, has been a different story for me. I've found that I can't really smoke it heavily on a daily bassis for more than about a week or two (depending on the weed quality, how busy I've been, etc.) without getting the withdrawal feelings you describe. I get really lethargic, incredibly bored, and a little depressed. About 2.5 months ago I was smoking almost a dime a day, and when I was finally forced to stop due to my cash flow drying up, I found it almost unbearable. At that point I decided I had to start regulating my smoking.

Since then, I've smoked 4-5 dime sacks (about half of it with other people), with breaks of 3 days to 2 weeks thrown in between them. I've found that I'm much better off for it. Now, when I don't have weed I'm not fiending, and I don't get down on myself and lose motivation/drive. I'm also way happier both when I'm smoking and when I'm not.

It's really difficult to break the habit of smoking daily, because after awhile it just feels so natural and right, and you can always talk yourself in to it. But for me at least, it was very important to do and I'm happy that I did.

Oh, plus I get wayyyyy higher when I do smoke now too.
