Hey all you hydro growers, I need some help finding the right/perfect solution for my plants. I had alittle trouble w/ph earlier, But I have ph/flushing/solution changes all set now. NOW I have my new growth turning bright green to almost yellow between the veins. I looked it up and it "could" be a zinc defiency. So I looked on nute bottles (sensi/grow A & sensi/grow B) and zinc is not listed on the label......Hmmm!?. (I'll do my gripping later) Right now I need a balanced nute solution with "every thing" I need in it? Can some of you share what you use and where I can find it(prefably localy, wal-mart, lowes, ect)? Any help will be great though, I just need it quick!!! Thanks so much, T.Bug
Oh, I got it all straightened out NOW!! Gee, thanks everybody for you help.....NOT! What's the point of a "indoor growing" forum, if all you do is brag about how great you are? .....MAYBE THEY SHOULD HAVE A SEPRATE "BIG SHOW-OFF" CATEGORY!! T.Bug
Hey T.Bug, I use General Hydroponics nutrient solution. It's a three part solution that works well and they have literature and an online site to help answers any questions you may have. Here's the link http://www.genhydro.com/ I use the Flora series. It has three parts as I mentioned before: flora micro, flora grow, & flora bloom. They have charts and programs that tell you the amounts you need to mix at every stage of growth and bloom. They are also P.H. adjusting so that when you mix them in your P.H. balanced water they don't drop your P.H.. Take a look at these products they work well for me. I.B.Token
Thanks token, you've help so much. as a matter of fact i was just there this morning. I got the web adress off my test kit. I was actually loking into the maxi series. Though, if you say flora is working fine then ill just go with that. the only reason i liked the maxi, is because its all in one. My new routine is to change once a week and flush between changes. Oh, and replace water lost due to evap.more later , ill send some pics
YO , Tbug, I use Ionic Nutes. The Grow and Bloom are awesome.,. Its directions are simple:add 4 tbsp per gallon to Tap water. thats its. It has the ph adjusted to Tap .. I dont even use anything to adjust the Ph.. I rarely even check it .. Then if you want to consider a orangic method , the Green Fuse Is Da shizzle .. I use it along side my Non orangic solutions.. hey t-bug, i also use advanced nutrients in nft, which is hydro and have no problems at all. do you just use sensi grow? any additives? im on my first grow, just coming to the end actually. i use sensizym along with my sensi grow, and also barricade. ive been using ro water so i supplement with cal mag plus. im not sure if this contains zinc but it does calcium and mag etc. u can buy bottles of supplement nutrients like zinc from the nirvana shop. are you sure it isnt your ph? hope this helps. gd luk with your problems. heres a link http://www.nirvana-shop.com/cannabis_seeds.php?selected_category=25&osCsid=c64e30468d19fde1081202fdc596939f
