Help understanding feeding schedule

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by scrapsblue, Sep 5, 2018.

  1. i have four plants about four weeks into flowering they are all doing very well. They got a little too lanky so I am trying a non organic bloom forumula for two weeks before flushing. Just teas, fish emulsion, trace minerals/calcium and beneficial flora and fungus added so far in their life. I hope I can get them to fill out better around the tops and gain density. Which they are starting to do but slowly.

Anyway, I am confused how to read the feeding schedules. They say x milliliters per gallon, but I am trying to get an idea how many gallons can be fed for each plant (meaning ml of product per plant) They are all in 60 gallon smart pots and are about 7 feet tall 4 feet around. Sorry no pics

I am using Humboldt nutrients 0-16-18. They recommend 1-10 ml per gallon. I will use this with a 3-3-3 crayzswell brand emulsion and a 3-9-4 organic dr earth bloom tea. How many ml of the Humboldt nutrients ginormous product can I safely feed these plants around week 4 flowering now while still striving for the most vigorous growth and allowing ample time for flushing. Is it recommended to run a flush for 2 weeks when adding such a heavy compound so late?

  3. As for feeding I use a 5 gallon bucket. I have it marked where 2 gallons is. I use 2 gallons per plant per feeding and mix according to what ever my nutes call for. For instance cal-mag is 3-5ml per gallon. I put 10mil in the bucket and stir. My flower nute is 10mil per gallon according to the schedule. I use 25mil for 2 gallons. There is some wiggle room and it's all according to what your plants can handle without burning down. Start small and work your way up. Never give full strength right out of the gate like @old shol4evr said. Start at 1/4 strength per gallon and build on that. You are so late in the game though I don't think you will get much if any benefit now though. You will be at harvest before you ever get to experience the benefits IMO.
