Hey! I have a 2'8"x2'x1' grow dresser. There is 8 100 watt cfls in there, the dresser is lined with mylar, and 5 plants. I already have two fans both are 240cfm. One is for intake the other is exhaust. The problem is that it is getting up to 90degrees in there!!! What do I do?!?!?!
this is just something i came across awhile back, but someone mentioned ditching mylar because it was getting too hot. they ended up painting the walls flat white instead. i have no idea if that's true or not. emergency thermal blankets *are* made of mylar tho.. something i plan to do is to keep refreezing water bottles and using them to help with temperature control. im a noob myself, so it might not help as much as i expect it to. I think using more smaller wattage bulbs would result in less heat than using the big ones.
