Once again my plants have started great and just recently the new growth looks horrible. I transplanted them a week ago from plastic cups to 1 gallon pots. The tops/new growth begins to stop growing and leafs look wrinkled on the edges. I feed them the GH flora series , a little under recommended dosage. Ph is 5.8. Using a T5 light 18/6 schedule Can anybody help??? [ attachment=1508798:ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1406007107.937803.jpg] Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
That is nutrient burnt, when transplanting be sure to use minimal nutrients the transplant in itself is a shock and when you put in new soil there are already enough nutrients to help the transition, 1st watering straight water 2nd watering half strength nutes and judge from there, best thing to do is give her a nice flush and you'll see her bounce back in a couple days, hope this helps happy smoking. I think it is the PH personally.. If your ph is off it will deform your new growth also show signs of deficiency or nute burn but it is not Adjust the ph of your water to 6.5-7 and water your leaves should straiten out hopefully don't know how long they have been growing like that but the new growth should come out fine if it was a ph problem
Always research any information before acting, 5.8 is a little low for soil but not to be causing these kind of issues I do agree with raising your ph but do not go to 7 typical grow nutrients have a higher ph for their grow blends keep your ph 6.3-6.5 and expect it to raise some as leftover salts in the grow will be raising your ph over time, please flush with a ph'd clean water and watch her bounce back, good luck and happy smoking G
