I just germinated some seeds in a humidity dome for the 1st time. 13 out of 14 have popped. But I didn't check it for 2 days & some are very long. Bcuz I wasn't using any light, a few are long and hanging over. I just put them under my LED & the shorter 1s r starting to stand up. Will the long 1s do the same or should I do something to fix it. I used Rapid Rooters & was gonna transplant rt to my hydro table but for now I just put the cell & tray kit under the light. Also it looks like maybe 1 or 2 of the tops with the leaves broke off the tips. Will these recover? Should I do something with them or just let it go? Please any & all help, opinions, and/or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. This is new for me & I did pay good money for these seeds & don't wanna lose any of them.Thank you!

  2. You should have cared for them better tgen lol

They have just stretched, I use cotton buds to support them, and a small battery operated fan to start with,
The reason they fall over is the stalks havent got the strength yet. Fan gently blowing on them will build them up.
Even cannabis seedlings are hardy plants they normally recover pretty quickly.

    Best of luck

  3. Ur right. But like I said, it was my 1st time using a humidity dome & rapid rooters. I've only done this 1 time b4 & I put the seeds into rockwool in my hydro table & only got 7 outta 14 to grow. So I'm still very new to this. Would u recommend me maybe cutting some of the long 1s to a normal size? Not sure if that would help or make things worse. Btw, do u think I should put the dome back over the tray? It was crazy, day 4 - nothing, then day 6 - 13/14. Didn't realize they would pop & stretch so much n 2 days. Def shoulda been checking everyday. It's a learning process though & f I can figure this stuff out now, I'll never make the same mistake twice!

  4. No dont cut anything from them. Lower the light as low as ypu can safely go.
    Support them, and mist regularly.

  5. Ok & I assume u mean cotton balls. Cotton buds? The light should b very close & don't put the dome back on?

  6. I know I'm being a pain in the ass but I'm just trying to get this right so I get it right next time & don't learn from my mistake. I appreciate the feedback

  8. Oh ok. I know what ur talking about now. Thnx alot. I really do appreciate it. I learn better hands on than reading from a book. I tried reading the grow bible but didn't understand most of it until I had been working on my 1st grow (hydro). I cut clones & am currently in veg for my 1st soil grow. The seeds I just germinated I want to do hydro (diff strains) & then I can work with multiple strains of clones. It's a fun, interesting, learning process/hobby. Very new to all this but I'm loving it & should continue to improve on what I've done so far. 2nd grow, 1st in soil & I still have alot to learn. Am always up for tips & tricks that will help me improve on my current & future grows. Again thank u very much!
