Have I over watered them. 36 days old Ty et are auto. Ph 6.3 I’m pretty sure I’ve over watered them. They are under a 600w mh at mo. Will be moved too a Hlg 650r. When flowering. But look at the state of them. I feel like ripping them out and starting again. What do I do? The media feels very wet. Growing in coco./clay perl mix. Any suggestions [IMG]

  4. When was your last watering? With a media like that I would water it every other day once it has acclimated after a week or two. Check to see if it’s really heavy or light by picking up the pot. If it’s light then water it again, if it’s heavy then leave it be and check the following day.

  6. Overwatering and possibly too cold is my guess.

  7. You can't overwater a plant that size in a coco/perlite/clay ball mix.
I grow in coco and I feed at least once a day to substantial run off in veg and at least twice a day in flower.
What has been you feeding schedule?
Do always feed to run off?
Do you ever use plain water?
Do you ever let the coco dry?
Your pH is too high.......should be around 5.9 - 6.0.

  8. @MickFoster is right on. Letting coco and the other inert media you are using dry cycle like soil likely to cause you lots of issues. My big coco/perlite girls get watered 3-5 times a day in mid-flower. You cannot overwater them. The clay balls may be holding moisture, but they should not be stopping your plants from accessing plenty of oxygen at the root zone. Give us some more info on your nutrients and water(ing) and we should be able to get you pointed in the right direction. Cheers

  10. I just gave them a good soak they haven’t really had one . Maybe that is the problem I haven’t been seeing no waste water at the bottom. But the leafs etc are a nice Color green

  11. I like a good 20% runoff in coco with every watering. When you get them running off this time (and frequently until you get the hang of coco) check the EC of your runoff compared to your feed. If the runoff is substantially elevated, the issue is likely nutrient buildup locking you out because of lack of runoff. If it is substantially lower than the EC of your feed, then she’s hungry. Checking that regularly will tell you how close your feeds are to what she wants and what direction to adjust. Cheers

Coco is drain to waste hydroponics.
Substantial run off is necessary for providing fresh oxygen to the roots and preventing salt build up.
I suggest you run a weak nutrient solution through it.......a lot of it.
Your pH should be around 6.0.
