Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by ads420, Sep 24, 2009.

  1. I woke up this morning and my light has been on all night (18/6) through the night. and the plants were plopped over somewhat. like droopy. im hand watering right now 2 times a day till the rockwool cube is wet, but maybe over watering? but im hand watering till roots get more down. but it is in a DWC system but i just started the clones that are fully rooted, so could that be why? since they are clones that are barely starting? with the light on heat is at 85 right now im struggling to maintain a low temp at the moment. lights off time is in 10 mins. anything u suggest doing?

  2. need pics man..

  3. We can never know without pictures, but my guess would be overwatering, I've never had to water a plant more than once a day.

  4. i was told twice a day by a grower friend but maybe i over did it. i have a feeling i DID over water. ways of correcting this? and here are the pics.
i want to make sure these dont die.

the one has somewhat corrected it self since this morning.

  5. anything?

  6. underwatered..

    is that a net pot?

is it in any sort of bucket or anything?

  7. august:
yes it is a net pot, and it is sitting in a 21gallon tote. with bubbles.

  8. Water that poor thing!

  9. agreed. watch the video in my signature. he waters 3 times a day.

i promise your plants will be fine. mine looked just like that and recovered with in 4 hours of getting water properly

if its not to late they will fully recover

  10. why would u have to water if you are using a bubbler ? i see the net cup, hydrot, but the plant isnt getting water. 21 gal bubbler rite?

  11. I would bury the rockwool a little deeper, so you have a layer of hydroton over the top. This will help hold moisture and require fewer waterings. I also think you are overwatering. Let things dry out for a day or so and start back lightly watering every other day.

  12. i stopped hand watering and repotted them a little deeper. raised the water in the 21 gallon tote to an inch into the net put. and then half an inch above the water level, now sits the bottom of the rockwool cube. im hopeing they both recover well :).
what you think? i hope this fixes it.
