Hi, I'm new in this.I've grown these 2 white widow outdoors.I think they are pre flowering, but in 1 case I did prune some of the fans and almost all those small shoots that grow in every node.My concept was to base only on the desired tops. But Im not so sure which one I did good. Can someone tell me something pls.the 1st pic is the one I tried to do something with.the 2nd didnt touched it yet. These are both on plagron algea grow, sensation green and root machine. All you have to say would be great.thanks
You said you are new and growing outside. That being said, I wouldn't do anything to the plants. Watch how they grow and develop, then next grow you will have a much better understanding. Peace.
Most of us clip the tips so the plant bushes out more and makes more buds but if you're trying to direct all of the energy to the main cola to make it larger then clip the side branches. You could do one of each and compare how they grow so next year you'll have a better idea of what you prefer. If you could keep your plants in direct sunlight all day they'd do better, they look a little light starved but other than that they look healthy enough.
If new to this, don't trim anything for the first 2-3 grows, theirs to much for you to learn/ take in and very little gain on your part once you got the hang of watering and feeding and Not burning the plants and you are confident then sure do a light list(LST) but theirs more important stuff for you to absorb in the mean time check this GWE good luck
Kudos for being new, using synthetic ferts, and getting your plants to look the way they do. Nice job. Not burned at all..good leaf color and structure, no signs of over feeding! Keep it up and just have fun learning how to LST & supercrop them...
