  1. just looked at my plants and I got algae growing in my tank what can I do? I know algae puts a high DO demand in the system

  2. Algae needs light, to grow, and prefers warmer nutrients. Light-proof your bucket, and lower mute temps.

  3. ok will try that do I need to clean tank or can i just change nutes and light proof and lower my temps

  4. You definitely want to clean the tank, too. Free-floating algae will look for a new place to grow (where light leaks), or it will die, possible affecting your PH, depending on how much you have.
