  1. Looking for an idea of when she might be able to be harvested. I don't know what strain it is, but if anyone has a clue as to when it can be harvested and what strain it is, that would be cool.

  2. when the hairs are 70% red.

or get yourself a magnifying glass and look at the trichomes.

  3. Is the trich on the bud leaf, or the hairs??? Have a 30X magnifier and am unsure of where to view...

  4. on the buds leaf is where you want to look. Trich identification is a MUCH BETTER way to tell when to harvest vs. how many hairs turn red etc...

ALSO - some top trichs will turn color before lower bud trichs and vice versa... I like to harvest buds individually when ready...

  5. When convenient, would you please describe your individual bud removal process and do you regenerate your plant?

  6. Removing individual buds is VERY easy. Simply check them with the magnifying glass, right when they look a little cloudy or amber I just clip them off with nail clipping scissors (anything sharp). Removing buds doesn't hurt your plant and actually helps direct the exxtra energy to the other developing buds. pulling material off the top of the plant also opens up more space allowing light to get to the lower buds, so they develop better too. If no buds are left on the top and you have a 3-6" stalk of leaves etc... chop off that section of the plant (so long as there are some fat fan leaves down below).

I don't regenerate. I don't like that - usually after the 6-8weeks flowering time, my plants are rootbound and the soil is sucked dry of its nutez.

  7. Do you clip at the node of the bud stem, or just clip off the individual bud and flower from top of stem? Sorry my ignorance is so obvious. Just want to do it right and not make any mistakes.
