Help please

  1. Can anyone help me diagnose this? I’ve tried fixing with a dose of phosphorus via foliage spray, I’ve let her dry completely out in case it was waterlogged, I’ve fed her a balanced bite plan recently and she still looks terrible. Any help would be appreciated. I’m growing in coco, PH:5.6-5.8, PPM around 1100, I water every other day, feed every four, one feed is high I’m PK and sugars second feed is high in N and microbial benefactors. This recipe was working phenomenal for her then she stopped growing and began diminishing. The formula still works wonders for my other 9 plants so I don’t think it is the feed.

  2. Oh also the “dead” leaves aren’t crunchy at all. They’re still retaining liquid, much of my new growth stems are soft and squishy without any back bone, and my stem insides look like they’re on the drier side so I’m completely baffled. [IMG]

  3. Also forgot to mention I had super cropped her maybe two weeks ago and didn’t have any issues until I had done that. I definitely will not be doing that again.

  6. You should be feeding everyday to 20% runoff and never plain water in coco. Hopefully you have 30-50% Perlite mixed in. Ph should range from 5.7-6.3. You are missing a lot of nutrients above the 6.0 uptake. Smaller pots allow more feeds at lower ppms and fast growth.

  7. What is that?

  8. That’s one of the stems from a branch I cut off. Showing how dry it is inside.

  9. When I was feeding daily she got waterlogged and that was what began all these issues I’ve been having.

  10. Then you don’t have enough Perlite or drain holes.

  11. this plant hates being super cropped. its pinched off water will not uptake drying up the entire branch. ?????? some of these plants just dont like to be super cropped or trimmed. others you can cut it with a weed wacker its happy.

  12. 50% perlite, Airpots. I think she might be root bound so water can’t drain properly but I don’t have a bigger pot to put her in. It’s either that or she didn’t like the supercropping in the least bit and decided to shut down instead of drinking for a bit. She’s starting to look better. I believe she just had an extreme case of PK deficiencies. The leaves were turning purple and black like they were bruised and it was wilting due to the high humidity in my veg tent. I’ve moved her over to flower room where the humidity is much better. Just haven’t gotten around to getting a small dehumidifier for veg tent yet.

  13. That’s what I’m thinking it is. But it’s hard to pinpoint it since I fed her and supercropped the same day so I just think she didn’t want to eat for a week and that week of wet soil caused some issues.

  14. She shouldnt root bound in sn air pot but tbh if its just bottom growth that will happen as they cost more in energy than it gives she will move the nutes she can and drop them.
But a pic of the entire plant would help

  15. I intenti Rootbound my plants for faster growth. That’s not your problem. With 50/50 mix, you can leave in small pots and multifeed for fast growth. I just harvested a plant that was 5.5 months old and finished in 3.5 gallon pot, fed 2-3 times daily. I also flower in one gallons vegged up to 6 weeks

  16. I’m not 100% sure what her issue is but I e slowly been dwindling it down. I let her dry completely. I’ve flushed her and she had her N feed two days ago and he PK feed last night when I get home I’ll check on her and see the results and update. And I haven’t snapped a pic of the whole plant because prior to the request I chopped all the ugly branches off. If there’s a few issues when I get off of work I’ll include a full picture.

  17. I definitely don’t have time to feed 2-3 times a day. I wake up early and get off late so I’d have to force three feedings in 5 hours and I don’t think they’d like that too much.
And it might just be me but those roots look rough. If it works it works but I’m a big fan of beautiful bright white roots.

  18. The pots had been dried for 48 hrs before the chop so the roots are dry as well. Coco/perlite is passive hydro. That’s how you get the fast growth with 2-3 feeds per day. It’s mainly two feeds a day. Had to slip a third in on the bigger plant but mainly do 4-8 plants in my 4x4 each cycle. Can do it with seedlings too. Usually get 5-6 full nodes in under 2 weeks.
