help please w/fim or topping

    Im getting close to my 12/12 and I was going to cut some of my tops. Not exactly sure where to cut at so they will split 4 budding instead of one single cola. need some sort of explanation and or a picture would be sweet. I have alot of ladies to care 4 but not topping all of them. ...................the greengoblin.

    You say that you are getting close to the 12/12 flowering stage, and you just now want to start toppin, if you wanted to end up with multiple colas you should have started fimming them while they were in the veg stage, not right before they start to flower. I would say, fim the tops of the newest growths off and hold off on switching to 12/12 until they recover. Then if new branches start to form tie down some of the branches, or if the stalk is still pliable, you could tie it down as well, just make sure that they are bent so they are horizontal and no more, if anything a little less. Then when they start to grow upwards you can probably start to flower. Cant post a pic (no camera) but I hope this helps :)

    * Oh, and when you fim, remember to not clip the entire new growth off, just about 80% of it, this will cause the most branching.
