    Im going to start growing but dont know where to start. Im going to make a grow box out of cardboard with an intake an exhaust fan. What about lights? Im on a budget so nothing to pricey. I also want to grow about 2-3 plants at once. All suggestions welcome.

    how much are you looking to grow?

    why cardboard?

    You should just build a wood frame with plywood for your box. It will be better in the long run.

    very true, I would be willing to bet your cardboard will start falling apart 1/2 way through the first cycle.

    use plywood or old unused cabinet.

    any thought on budget yet?

    sorry it took so long to respond to the budget question. Its about $200.

    next question, you planning on cfl's or hid lighting?
