$100 to $200 range..Help on quality brand and what size output..ie..1000 to 2000 I'm thinking..Money is a problem at the momont.. Looking for something that will grow 2 to 3 plants from seed to buds..Could use advice so I don't get ripped off..Would like to be happy with light.
Grow Lights, Professional Lighting suppliers and manufacturers - Alibaba multiply your grow space and divide that by the actual wattage to get how many watts needed for your grow. i grow in a 3x3 tent so 3x3=9 400 (actual watts) divided by 9 = 44 watts per square foot. 30 watts a sqft would be the minimum you would want with 70 watts a sqft being max. i say actual watts because the amazon and ebay lights will say like sunrise 1000 watt grow light equivalent to 1000 watt hps but will only be a 125 actual watt or ( power draw )
As GroBuddy pointed out, the wattage you need is determined by your square footage, not number of plants. With autos in hydro, I can get by with about 25 watts per sq ft. Amazon has some decent, cheap lights.
