Still kind of a noob to growing, how do you check ppm in a soil grow? I always water with distilled water because I don’t trust the tap water where I live, so I have no experience with messing with pH levels
hey learn by trial and error. just do a little research via youtube. books. this forum . information is there.

Yeah I think it’s the light, I got a QB 65 on her and she’s about 12-14 inches from the light at her tallest point, which is where I have noticed the discolored leaves. I’ll raise the light up when I get home
If checking ppm of your nutrients all you need is an EC meter. Use the EC meter to find the EC of your feed(Jug of water mixed with nutrients.) multiply your EC by 1000 then divide by 2. That will give you ppm of your nutrient solution you are feeding but not the ppm in your soil. Generally more then 1500ppm for cannabis I think is too much. But everyone has different ppm that work for them.
Mine were starting to look like that at 18 inches under a qb135 v2 3000k. So much for the thin light saves height. Just don't let your buds turn into White Widows.
So I should just move up the light then, correct? Just wasn’t sure if it was nute burn or light burn or a combination of both. I had a hard time believing it was nute burn because I’m barely giving her any (1/4 strength)
I would start with just raising the light. Over a week she should recover. Any leaves that are more than 50/50, cut off but it doesn't look like you have any worse than 50%
I had a hard time believing mine was light burn. 135 measley watts. That's not even 35w/sq ft for my 2x2 plant. I didn't figure it out until the secondary buds came up to the top greener than a Martian on St Patricks day. Yeah, 24 inches for my 3000k. The 4000k seems better at 18. Oh well, my footprint just got bigger.
