Help Needed What Is The Problem

  1. I am at a loss as to what is the problem here. Organic grow, 6th Week, Super-soil, LED lights.
    Any ideas?

  2. Why are you cutting leaf sections off?

  3. Looks like a Calcium Deficiency.
What is the source of both Calcium, and Magnesium?
    Whats PH?
    What is leaf temperature?
    Been top dressing, with anything?

  4. I thought it might be Calcium and had added more. I am using TPS Organic Cal-Mag with Iron and Micros. Instructions say not to exceed 2 ml. I did increase to 3 ml, but problem getting worse. I have added some Potassium 00-00-50 because of Potassium deficiency. Leaf temperature is 76. Soil PH 6.6. When watering, PH'd at 6.3-6.5.

If what you say is true - that this is Calcium Deficiency - I could have added too much Potassium thus locking out Calcium - which is causing the deficiency.

But, I am also thinking too much Cal-Mag locking out Potassium, as this may instead be a Potassium deficiency.

I think I'll just water with zero nutrients and see how it goes.

  6. yes,... she looks overall healthy... and getting late in age.. id imagine there is enough nutrients in the plant left before its last cycle of life is what happens to the leaves...

  7. i am organic and in week 6 of flower too i just use plain water and have no issues i also dont ph my water HOW DO YOU PH your water?

  8. I pH at 6.3-6.5. I'm using super-soil I got from Amazon, but it doesn't have enough nutrients to get me through the flower cycle and I have to add. What are you using?

  9. Man flush them bitches and let it roll, everything else looks fine. Trying to touch up Cal-mag issues this late is pointeless.

  10. topdress with bonemeal, alfalfameal, and mycos also added molasses and superthrive to my water but that was at week 5 now i just use tap water not phd because i dont want any chemicals in there do you use ph down?

  11. what is your PPFD? they maybe need more light?

  12. Why are you so sure of that.......

  13. Because I get Calcium, Magnesium, Nitrogen, Potassium or Phosphorus deficiencies. I have individual N, P & K organic nutrients to treat the specific deficiency. This is my second grow with super-soil which I add to Happy Frog potting soil. Tomorrow begins day 1 of week 8.

  14. The PPFD is good. I do not have a PPFD meter because too expensive, but Vivo-sun does show PPFD I should be getting at distances of 12, 16 and 18 inches. I also measure the white light with an ordinary lux meter.

  15. I think my original problem was user error due to mis-diagnosing a deficiency and giving too much Cal-Mag causing Potassium lockout, thus causing a Potassium deficiency. Feeding water only has allowed the plant to digest the excess Cal-Mag and bring the nutrients into balance. I should know within a day or so if that is what actually happened.
