I'm running a 5 bucket dwc system. Click on my journal link for full details please. Electricity to my whole neighborhood is out til 5:30 am, nothing I can do about it. What do I do to keep my grow room cool? And will my girls be ok without air bubbled and everything being turned off til 5:30 am??? I'm so worried about my water getting too hot and Idk if the freezer will be able to freeze any water bottles in time....please help me!!! My power went out for three days. I went to walmart and purchased a couple deep cycle marine batteries, a battery charger, and a power inverter large enough to power everything I needed. I would just go home every morning and swap out the batteries. Worked like a charm.
Take a straw and blow air into your nutrient solution until power comes back on. It works better if you have friends.
Go buy some battery powered air pumps from your local pet store. Keep the nutes moving, and oxygenated. If your plants are in flower, don't sweat it. Just resume the light cycle when the lights come back on. If they are in veg, get a flashlight or something and hang it above them. It will be enough light to keep them from thinking they are going into flower prematurely, but won't do anything for photosynthesis at the levels your grow lights provide.
