got a small metal pipe that screws together, just bought it used. lot of reisdue. i soaked it in a water bottle for 2 days, then dired it and hid it. i recently looked at it and it had brown and black shit in the main part/stem, is this rust? i cant kinda scratch it off. if it is rust how do i SAFELY get rid of the rust?
