Ten One Design This is what I want. I have a Mac, with the multitouch pad, and want to use it as a tablet with many PC applications, which I run on windows 7. I use bootcamp, not parallels, so Mac OSX is not involved in this. The software this place provides is for Mac OSX, but I want to just get a pen, and use my touchpad thing to draw diagrams and stuff for school. Could I just buy the pen and use that, without the software, since windows 7 does have some sort of handwriting recognition software. You Silicon (v)Alley-ers would know if anyone!
It probably doesn't exist. Seeing as how there aren't that many mac users and Windows 7 partitioned is used even less, I don't think that such a program exist. : / best option would be if they ported that program over to Windows, but that is highly doubtful.
You could just try getting a pen tablet. I don't believe I've ever heard of a trackpad being used as a tablet surface before...
If you guys will follow that link I posted in the first, it's definitely possible with the multitouch pad the macs and ipods and stuff use. I just don't know how the computer would interpret it on Windows 7 without any special software. I already have tablet softare preinstalled, but I don't know if it's enough. Thanks for the replies though.
First off, I love the movie Kids so your avatar is sick. Second is like its already said, you need software installed in order for the mouse to be recognized as a tablet. Mac software is built around one machine (which can be a good or bad thing) while Windows is built around many. Most tablet software is ussually built around a touchscreen. Your best hope is to try using one of those USB tablet software that may (probably not) recognize the mouse as a tablet. Good luck finding what you need.
