I've been reading these boards for awhile and I was a big reader on the overgrow forums, when they were around. Anyways, I'm moving at the end of this year to my own apartment, but I want to start getting everything ready, so by the time I move, i'll be ready to grow. I've been watching Mr. Green's "how-to" videos on growing and those help alot, but I would like to make a list of things that I need. I want to grow hydro, and have about 6-8 plants going every 2 months or so. If you guys could help me out, I would appreciate it. On the video, mr. green uses 2 different lights. One for the veg state and one for the flower state. Is that necessary? I know I need: 400w light Thermometers timers Nutrients (any recommendations) As far as the set up, what system should a newbie like myself look into building?
you dont need to have two different lights especially as ur using an hid but as you want to do it the way mr green done it and have a vegetating room and a flowering room i recomend you get about 6 flouresents for veg and use your hid for flowering. a good video that explains all the different spectrums of light is jorges cervantes ulatimate grow video its on video.google.com
more items for ur list would be reflective sheeting such as mylar outtake fan normal fan possibly inlet fan and then u have to decide whether to go with hydroponics or soil
