Help Me Tell My Mom

    I know there's a bunch of threads on this, but my situation is a little different; my mom's a huge stoner. I've been around weed my whole life. I have 5 sisters, all of which have, or still does smoke weed. 2/5 are big stoners(one of them grows, legally), 1/5 smokes semi-often, her boyfriend is a huge stoner. I smoke with him sometimes. The other is the sister that still lives with me, also 18. I've seen her smoke weed, and she said she used to sometimes, she doesn't really anymore, but she smokes cigs. I'm not sure about the last one. Her girlfriend is a huge stoner, though. I'm pretty sure she smokes sometimes.

    I smoked a few times when I was 14-15, then kind of stopped. Now, I smoke a lot, and 3 out of my 5 sisters know. I smoke with most of them and their boyfriends/husbands. I'm not sure about the other 2. My closest sister, who is amazingly laid back and awesome, doesn't know. She's so laid back, she'd probably tell my mom(which I want to do, and don't want her to). Not in a tattle-tale way, but make a joke about me being stoned or something in front of her. The other probably would tell my mom, and I'm fine with her not knowing.

    I've been trying to build up the courage to just tell my mom. Two of my sisters said they started at 12, and the only thing my mom told them was "Don't let it mess up your lungs." I don't know why I'm having such a hard time telling her. Does anybody have any suggestions? What do I say, how do I word it? I'm super-nervous, and I don't know why.

    Sorry for the long read, and sorry if a lot of it doesn't make any sense.

    If for some crazy reason she doesn't, then flat out tell her "ma, i smoke dope".:smoking:

    Just be straight with her dude. If she's a huge stoner and knows your sisters do it, pull out a bowl and spark with her. And I think I kinda agree with the poster above me. Your mom prolly knows. Everyone here says my mom knows. I think moms just know shit you don't know they know.

    Haha! I could picture my mom saying that. But I feel like she would have said something if she knew. Like, telling me not to smoke in the house or something. She doesn't even smoke in the house.

    my parents told me that, but i never did. thats the only rule, no smoking in the house

    my mom was pissed when she found my stash.of course i was 15 at the time.she eventually said just dont get caught and dont smoke in the house....also said dont tell dad lol.hes a die hard anti dope head.
    just be blunt about it.no pun intended:smoking:

    I'm going to assume you're a guy so spread your legs and take a look at what is in between them. They're called balls, use them. It seems like telling your mom you smoke weed would be the least stressful thing you can do given your situation.

    My daughter was smoking in the house and she denied it she said it was the sage she was burning. But I knew she was burning sage because it has a similar smell as weed so she was covering up the smell. If she was burning incense I would have smelled the weed, so the sage was her best bet. I could only guess. Anyway your mom prolly knows esp. if she can smell it in your hair on your clothes etc. She knows what it smells like. Just tell her mom, I wanted you to know I was smoking weed. She loves you and won't be disappointed in you or anything. Don't worry, nothing bad will happen. Trust your mom.
