Ive been wanting to grow for awhile but not really sure how to grow the whole thing till harvest. also, i live w/ my parents. i have been wanting to maybe put it down in this walk in cellar type thing. but i was wondering if it would even be able to live down there because it's winter and kinda cold in there. I know i need to get a light down there but i mean is there a certain type of light i should buy? and the main thing i need to know is how can i tell when the plant is ready to harvest?
I'd suggest not growing while living with your parants or not living with your parants. But to answer your question, I'm not sure of the size of the cellar type thing you speak of, but You can build a box or use a cabinet or even a dresser. Cut out the drawers inside and glue the fronts back on to the dresser to look like the drawers are still there but really its hallow. Oh and If you want to use a whole section of the cellar get mylar online or at a hydro store then section it off with mylar emergency blankets (make sure there mylar) For everything else your going to have to do some reading, get a growing guide online and ask questions here once you've put your time in researching. In the guides it will tell you about the lights you can chose to use and what all to do and when to harvest.
