Hi all, I have just aquired a new grow-space (will post pics tomorrow as Ive lost my cam again ). Its 7 - 7.5 ft high and by 2 - 2.5 wide and deep and has a vent hole going into the attic. Question is: Because its so tall, and the light (125w "Envirolight") will never be near the top, do I really need a fan to blow the hot air out, or will there be enough space above the light to deal with the hot air by itself through the vent hole into the attic, with a few holes in lower than the plants for cold air to get in? Cheers for your help (I am still going to have a fan running to circulate the air)
id say throw a vent fan in the top with holes for fresh air at the bottom. if smell isnt an issue then just vent it to the attic and blow the stems around with a fan.
WOW thanks for the quick response dewd. Thing is I'm on a very tight budget, and being my 1st grow I'm trying to keep cost down to a minimum. I was wondering if it would be OK just for a week or so, as I will have some cash by then. (by the way, the plants I will be growing is 2 x Skunk1 crossed with something, picking them up as clones in hopefully just over a week)
the first 4 weeks of my first grow, I had no ventilation and no fan blowing the weeds. they did ok. you will be fine for a week.
