SO I used to have a 1990 Nissan Skyline GTR kickass tuner car. However my job and young age doesn't permit me to keep up with maintence. Sold it for $8k and am looking to spend $5-6k on a new reliable car for schooling and just going around town, to vancouver etc. I have in mind: Honda Civic (2001 or 2004) Nissan Ultima (bit pricey for years above) Some sort of maza was recommended also for reliability
only in canada(actually, anywhere but the US) could a skyline sell for so cheap.... i would go with the civic or a mazda, mazdas are sexy
I bought it for 9.2 and I sold it for 1k cheaper cause it had a few issues but mechanically it was perfect. I actually sold it to a woman in the US army she came all the way up across the border to buy it and drive it back, all so she can take it to germany. Also, what mazda model would you recommend for that price range? Sorry im used to tuner cars.
i think he means 8 grand.. anyway, i would go with a reliable toyota/honda, cant go wrong with any of them.
If you're willing to take out a loan for the difference (which will improve your credit anyways), consider getting a new car. As the saying goes, "I'm not rich enough to afford a used car." You will get a vehicle that will have at least 30,000 maintenance free miles on it and be pulling down maximum fuel efficiency. Financially a new car is almost always a superior choice if you can afford it.
