    it kind of looks like thAT but there are 2 white hairs coming out of each buds area

    At first a female flower can have a ball shape to it. The real distinguishing characteristic to tell a male is clusters of balls, as in the photo above. If you have only one ball-ish thing with a couple of white hairs coming out of go paint the nursery pink 'cuz you're having a girl.

    just thought i would bring this back up. I have a ton of GIrls ( I am so happy now ) Thanks! Hope this helps some other people out.
