Ok, first off, I'm surprised guesstimate is a real word. Second off, I know its not an exact science, so just looking for guesses. I started 12/12 around the first week of august. So its been 10 or 11 weeks of 12/12. I know it took 2-3 weeks to sex properly. So that puts me around 7-8 weeks of flowering. I know its all about trichromes. But I have some additives very high in phosphorous that are designed to be added the last 3 weeks or so. Just trying to guess where I'm at. First grow obviously. So, I think I'm about 8 weeks in, given 3 weeks to sex. its an 80% sativa which can take from 13-14 weeks of flowering. (Arjan's Ultra Haze #1) I know its all about the trichromes for harvest. Just trying to get a rough estimate of the relative phase I'm in. To me, the buds look very early, but I know they take on the build the last 2-3 weeks. Without further ado, the bud porn! Like I said, I know its hard to tell, just trying to get a guess at what stage of flowering I'm in. Thanks
man that plant looks like its been flowering about 2-3 weeks there,s not hardly any buds you said she been on 12/12 for 10-11 weeks she should be almost done but she has just started
I'm thinking the same thing when I saw those pics, it also looks like it has some problems like heat stress and def. Maybe it's under gone stunted growth. I would do ph check/ppm an check trichomes. Buds may turn without fully developing
Again, PH/PPM is the only thing I can make sure is accurate. Digital meters for both, PH calibrated every 2 weeks. And it is a 13 week sative
dam sativas i had a bagseed mexican and i flowered mine at 10 insches bitch ended up 5 feet tall but she really didnt form any buds til week 8 and they didnt fill till about 12 weeks!! and yours looks really early but hey at least ALL THAT bull is over and now you play the most rewarding waiting game ever
most sativa dominant growers' journals I've read have seen, by a huge margin, most bud production in the last two or three weeks. They look like week 4-5 hybrid strains until week 9 or 10, then explode. It's surprising you chose this strain for your first grow, I've always heard it was difficult to manage opposed to other newb-friendly strains. Should be a pretty epic smoke from what I've heard though--good luck!
Yeah I found out it was a difficult strain to grow, and that indicas are more newbie friendly after I bought the seeds lol. I just read the description of the high, and it sounded exactly like the smoke I wanted. It seems all the bud that's grown around here and available is mostly couch lock indica's where I prefer the head high. Looking forward to smoking it . Thanks for all the replies guys.
i got a seed from gh too that super lemon haze but let me know how that gh haze smokes i wanna hear bout it and also the final 3 weeks is when the sativa buds REAlly plump and harden lightly squeeze them now and in a couple weeks when you squeeze them they will not squeeze any more

About 2 months ago, right after I switched lights to 12/12, I found out my job is going to start random drug testing at work. Bought a half ounce that day, smoked the shit out of it for the 3 day weekend (even took a day off work) and haven't smoked since. We were supposed to get an initial testing in october. Should be clean by now. I definately plan on smoking a bowl of this on thanksgiving though. After 3+ months no smoking, I figured it should get out of my system in a matter of days. So, even if it turned out to be dirt weed, It'd get me high as shit Sucks after years of talking about it/thinking about, and about 4 months of owning the hydro system I bought, I won't be able to smoke it. And I live in california which should hopefully pass prop 19. But I hear this stuff, if properly stores, ages like a fine wine. So some mason jars, and I'll be set for when I can smoke, and my occasional smoke. Plus, after I see how the initial drug screening works, I'll know if I can beat it. I used synthetic urine in the past, just don't know if I'll be watched, patted down better, etc... better safe than sorry! Plus, the GF has 2 kids, and most of her family smokes. Instead of paying my hard earned dollar, I'll be able to pay the baby sitter in weed Also, added a small amount of the shit thats supposed to be used last 2-3 weeks of budding. I know its really high in phosphourous/etc... stuff the plant needs to bud. Got my PPM's right up to 1300 exactly. So, I think I figured out a mixture of that to throw in, in case I'm closer than I think.
Honestly if you think your in the last 2-3 weeks of flowering your dead wrong that looks like it's got atleast 7-8 more weeks honestly, but who knows it looks like a deformed plant cause at this point 7-8 weeks of real flowering looks like buds on most of the plants i've seen in week 2 maybe even week 1 honestly, i really hope she turns out well for you the best i can say is try nd wait it out as long as you can and check trichs i'd be concerned about atleast getting a harvest out of that dunno if it will be all that great but hey we all have to start somewhere and just because u picked a sativa dominant for your first run just means if you pick a more user friendly strain next time you will be smooth sailing! And i think i've spotted a problem and why your girl is taking so long, your plant looks fairly large and it looks as if it's stretched tremendously and as it seems you have very inadequate light for that plant it looks like you have maybe 100w of CFL if that, you need to up your fire power and get a 150w HPS or atleast get T5 Fluros in the WARM for flowering, COOL for Veg...
Now I know it all depends on the strain but ours look like that at week 2 or so of flowering. Do yourself a favor and but a decent light/fan setup the end results will pay for itself in the first grow
Yeah I'm switching to probably a 600w hps (Or 400, still debating over it. Its only $50 more to get the 600w setup) sometime during my next grow. I would now, but my plants are too tall to be able to get it over them. Oh, and I don't think I have 2-3 weeks left. Think maybe 5.

I actually have that microscope. ALthough I find it kinda hard to focus sometimes. Like I said in the OP, for harvest time I know you need to look at the trichromes. Cloudy/amber. Right now all of mine look clear, but theres a lot of them! So little did I know when I started. My roomates cousin used this same grow setup, although with white widow which I believe grows bushier. Gonna grow some, Top it, and maybe put in a SCrog with this CFL set up. Its 315 actual watts, but I've heard they still only get about 12 -18 inches of penetration. The supplemental seems to really be helping with the middle buds though. I've thought of switching out my 100w equivs to 150w equivs, but not sure how much that would actually help. Plus I probably wouldn't be able to get them as close to the plant. The thing I'm worried about on ebay is quality. I got my light from this source and i will speak for them not only their feedback. and quality in a company is not over chargin for extra timers hangers and bulbs and a digital ballast and shipping htg has learned how to target the home grower to buy their produts and i wont lie their adds are flashy but there is cheaper and better wayy better deals hell here is a 1000 watt hps mh combo with a digital ballast WITH a 6" cooled hood free timer free hangers and free shipping for cheaper than than that 600 watt from htg supply. so dont let marketing schemes get you in hell this company has more of an inventory than htg supply and their own website not draggin you in but tryin to save you a shit load o $$$$$ and get a wayyyyyy better deal like i did 1000 WATT HPS+MH DIGITAL GROW LIGHT AIR COOL HOOD 1000W - eBay (item 160493333947 end time Oct-16-10 20:08:59 PDT)
tommat how are you using the microscope? i heard the best way to use it is cut a piece from a sugar leaf and place it on a piece of paper on a table. that way its easier to focus and hold steady.
I checked out the link, looks like good quality and a good price. I think a 1000w would be overkill for my room and bring temps way up.
