Won't you help a brother out? I've always loved to mess with my hair, had a mohawk, fauxhawk, mullet, bald. I never did any designs, just cause everyone was doing it..thought it'd be lame. right now its short and I gel it up everyday, but thats the problem, i'm tired of putting on gel. It's a waste of time.. I hate washing my hands for 10 minutes after I gel it up, the gel I use costs about 7 bucks, and it's gone in about 2 weeks, I'll skip the math part but that money could go to supporting my neighborhood dealer. I've got all my dreads I recently cut off in a bag. How about I make you a wig, and you can skip the years and years of growth, development, and dedication it takes to grow dreads.
To just quickly throw it out -- Section out your hair how you want it to be dreaded, since you have kinky hair you shouldn't need to braid it. After you section it wash your hair with non-residue shampoo. Let your hair dry [overnight] and backcomb the next day with a metal tooth comb, like a pet comb or you can buy a dread comb online. Keep backcombing and palm rolling until you've got baby dreads. Knottyboy.com has a decent tutorial.
