  1. Ok. I've had a problem with leaves yellowing. It started on one plant, one leaf turned yellow, then a couple more, and a few more, and on another plant, progressing the same way. First one leaf then a couple and the next thing it's taking over. I noticed it starting on 2 more tonight. We are now 20days into 12/12 lights.

The plants are of the ever-popular Bagseed variety, and this is my first real grow. Can't really say what kind of soil I'm using, started with a locally mixed organic then got some cheap orgainc soil at Lowes. They have enough light. I'm using Technaflora Recipe for Success nutes every third watering. I check solution and run-off ph, but my soil meter doesn't work. The run-off comes out slightly higher Ph.

This has resembled a few different deficiencies, N, K, S are the 3 closest as far as how the leaves look. I have given plain fertilizer for Nitrogen, bloom ferts and bat guano for Potassium, and Mag-Sulphate/ Garden lime for sulfur, mag, calcium and to buffer ph. All to no effect.

Note that the yellowing occurs mainly around the outside and under the canopy. I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Does anyone remember having a problem like this?

The saga continues... Ok, Most of my plants are displaying this now, if this is normal N deficiency due to budding, seems to have started pretty early. I just don't know how to stop this, but at least the buds look fairly healthy! I hope it get's ready to harvest before it just dies on me or something. 2 plants are nearly naked of green leafage!

There's gotta be someone here in GC that knows what this is!

I can't seem to post any new pictures at this time as my mouse is tweaking. I've ordered a new one, so maybe in a few days I'll be able to show how this is progressing.

  3. it does really look like normal flowering N def. but i agree very early for it to be starting. with that said if it is just normal N def. then you will be ok i removed almost all fan leaves on my plant a 1 1/2 weeks ago and my plant is fine the last few days the leaves went purple very pretty in its own way

  4. also if the stems and veins are staying green when it starts then i would say Mag. def it can behave this way to but usually moves slower to fix that you can mix epsom salt 1 teaspoon per gallon and either foliar feed or just go ahead and water her with it. It wont hurt your plant even if its not Mag. def

  5. Its a P def.

Load up on Bonemeal or Bat Guano.

  6. Finally got the mouse to cooperate and let me post a couple pics. These were taken yesterday.
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I've treated for N, K, and S deficiencies already. So I have some bat guano waiting for my next (2nd) grow. How would I use it to treat for Phosphorus def.? Could I just give it an extra shot of whatever fert I have that's high in P?

  7. Ya, u can do that, but ya also gotta understand that part of this
    is the natural flowering process.

  8. I was looking up what P def looks like in leaves, but there was very little resemblance to mine.

I also woke to this yesterday, but I think this is light burn. I added another 400W HPS, and so both plants and lights were rearranged maybe a couple hours before lights out...
[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] (and this interesting mark) [IMG] so everything was rearranged again, and so are we agreed this is light burn? The way the leaf is yellowed in the middle looks more like the P def to me. They aren't crispy, either, and the pistils weren't as burned as another time, when the damage was mainly to the pistils... I just get to the point all I do is talk myself out of what I think it is...:confused_2::eek: Ok, how did you say to use the bat guano? :smoking:
