Alright yall, check it out. I've got a decent cabinet that I'm gonna use for my grow, theres only one problem. My light is dangling because I have nothing to attach it to. Theres a clasp on the light holder, but so far my cabinet is empty. Obviously I'd wanna try and get the light in a vertical position, any ideas on how I could do this? Last time I tried about 40 books, but this messes with the circulation.
thats one of thoughs lights that the use to work on cars correct? ive got a couple but mine can be adjusted and stuff also would be easyer to tell if you had a picture of your grow box and everything
alright look i've got this light... its not like a lamp or anything, it has no base, it has nothing to rest on.... all it has is a clasp that i can attach to something else in an attempt to position it....i'd like to position it in such a way that the light can hang right over the plant
could you not run something horizonally in the box and hand it from that? Looks like you could screw a dowel rod or small pvc pipe or something across. Not sure, I am on here trying to learn to grow and have gotten so totally confused with the whole process............good luck to you!
what i would do is put a rod at the top of the box, or you could use an eye screw. then use some thick solid strand wire and wither wrap and tie it around the rod or tie it through the eye screw. tie the other end to the lamps clamp and it should hang. you will probably need to run the lamps power cord up and over the rod as well to keep it straight and out of the way of the bulb. you dont want the lamp to burn the cord. then as the plant grows you can adjust the height of the lamp. hope it helps, it shouldnt be that hard to get set up.
