Help making brownies

Discussion in 'Cannabis & Weed Edibles: Cooking & Recipes' started by braddigan, Aug 24, 2012.

  1. So my friend and I are using the oil method. We messed up at first by not simmering the oil before placing the bud in the oil and we just combined the 2 and put it on the stove. It's been cooking for about an hour or so and the heat is as low as possible. We don't see much change in the oil, but anytime we raise the temp even the slightest bit, the oil starts to steam. Is this ok or did we royally screw up? Just looking for some help, thanks guys.

  2. Theoretically you should be ok if the loud did t reach a temperature higher that 300 degrees. If the bud had been cooking on low for over an hour iwould say just make the brownies eat a bit ass peice and wait and hour. Either you screwed up or you didn't, but that's going to be the only way to tell.

  3. Should steam be coming out?
