Hi thanks for looking I grow for my self and a few friends. No till soil using leds supplemented with HPS in flower .... I grow quality over quantity and have heat Issues so Im not sure. So A friend who knows I grow and has sampled my smoke has asked for a little help, he wants to grow commercial strains like white widow or white widow X big bud both seem easy to grow for a beginner He told me he had a 6 x 6 tent with a 1000 air cooled MH / HPS coming and asked if the lighting would be sufficient. Sounded ok I thought .. Well I just went over and checked out his set up and it ended up being a 56 x 56 tent with a 400 mh/hps in a cool tube which I know is not enough light .. He is planning to put 9 plants in there so its gonna be crowded.... I have a 600 w mh/ hps I used to use ...so I am wondering if that is sufficient? My calculation is that is a bit small for that tent , a 1000 would be better Im sure Im wondering if he can just use the 400 and 600 side by side and just rotate the plants weekly or should he just buy a 1000 and be done with it ..
