grwoing in gallon pot with soil that has nutrients in it..i water it around every other day..as far as the light its a phillips 75w argo-lite, not sure if this will do the job. It started outside and is being brought in due to the weather. all of the grow from outside seems to be doing fine but its all the new growth that seems to be having trouble and curling up, a few leaves have small brown spots. Light was pretty close to the plant, around 6 in. but did not burn my hand...just moved it up to 12 inches as maybe this could be the problem?
The curled up leaves look like they were burned. The bulb you are using isn't a good choice for a grow, and gets as hot as a standard bulb. You did the right thing by moving the light back. Invest in a half dozen CFLs, and you will be fine.
