Help! Im about to start.

    This is my 1st time trying to grow so i need help.

    I have a 400watt lamp, 1.5L Water tank (Drip feed system) and a fan heater.

    I have these sqaure shaped things with a hole in the middle where the plant goes (there soft and fury) How do i use them? Do i put soil in as well? And another thing, is it a good idea to put more then one plant into a plant pot? (they are big pots)

    How far should i have the lamp away from the plant? Should i keep the lamp on 24/7 when its vegging or what?

    And what sort of heat should i keep the plants at?
    anyother helpfuly tips will help a s*it load.

    what kind of 400wattt light is it. the temp should be about 79 to 85 degrees.

    o yea and it is ok to plant two in a pot but as long as you know your going to have to transplant.

    yes, 24/0or 18/6 for vegging...change to 12/12 to trigger flowering..

    Is that a HPS lamp?

    As for distance from plant, put your hand next to your plant, as close as you can get your light to your hand without it getting uncomfortably warm, is how far you want it from your plant.
