  1. Hello again!

Haven't noticed any bugs in room, but something appears to be eating the main vein of some of the leaves. Only a couple of plants affected, but want to address this quickly. Anyone have ideas of what this is and how to address it? Plant/Grow info below.

    Thanks!

What type of medium; soil or hydro? Soil
What brand and type of soil? Fox Farms Ocean Forest
    Indoors or outdoors? Indoors
    What strain? Super Skunk
How old are the plants? 7 weeks
What type of lights and how many watts? Optic 8+ 500 watts
How far from the lights? ~24-25 inches
What is your watering frequency and source of water? 2-3 times per week, RO water with CalMag added.
What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? Alternating between plain water and Fox Farms Grow Big (2 tsp per gallon), Fox Farms Big Bloom (4 tsp per gallon), Bloom City CalMag (4 ml per gallon). Some lights have 5 plants total. This light has 4 plants total, 1/2 gallon total per light distributed evenly among the plants.
What are the temps and humidity in the room? Temp range between 72 and 80, Humidity range between 45-57%.
What size pots? 5 gallon smart pots
Any bugs? None that I can see, but something appears to be munching. Spraying Green Cleaner 2 times per week.

  2. I use Neem oil from Lowes. Mix with water and soak the bottoms of all the leaves. Supposed to be safe. I've used it on spider mites and thrips

  3. My best guess is earwigs, it’s really just too hard to tell early on.
Go ahead and treat with neem if it bothers you a lot.
I would personally just watch it until you get a positive ID on what is to blame. Maybe check the soil a bit? And under leaves.

  4. Googled it and still dont know but whatever it is should be near by on the under side of leaves usually, take 5 mins and look the plant over well, try 1 tsp of hydrogen peroxide with 125ml(half cup) of water, it works well for me and is 100% organic and safe at that % diluted. I spray the soil as well as the entire plant top to bottom.
